Pickup from your Chengdu hotel in a private vehicle. An early start is strongly recommended to beat peak crowds and arrive during the morning panda feeding window.
Visit with a family-friendly route and the electric sightseeing shuttle. Your guide explains panda habits, conservation stories, and observation tips in a child-friendly way — covering feeding behavior, habitat needs, and breeding science.

D1-Afternoon - City Walk
Visit People's Park for a teahouse experience.
A relaxed walk through the historic Kuan Zhai Alley district. Your guide can add a child-friendly snack-finding or street-observation game to keep young travelers actively engaged throughout the walk.
D2-Morning - Child-Friendly Museum
Choose one of three child-friendly museums based on your children's age, interests, and energy level. Your guide assists with advance booking and provides child-friendly commentary throughout.

Sichuan Science and Technology Museum: Best for ages 5–12. Highly interactive, ideal for children who enjoy hands-on science and technology exploration.
Chengdu Natural History Museum: Best for ages 6–14. Dinosaurs, animals, geology, and nature — visually striking and the most immediately engaging option for most children.
Jinsha Site Museum: Good for age 8+ and children interested in archaeology and ancient Shu culture.
D2-Afternoon - Family Sichuan Cooking Experience
A hands-on family cooking session where children learn to make dumplings or dan dan noodles, explore Sichuan peppercorns and local spices, and taste their own creations. Non-spicy versions available for all dishes

D2-Evening - Return to Hotel
Return to hotel for rest ahead of the Dujiangyan day. For older children, an optional Sichuan opera face-changing show can be arranged at own expense. Late-evening activities are not recommended for younger children.
D3-Morning - Dujiangyan Irrigation System
Visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site, with your guide explaining the three key structures — Fish Mouth, Flying Sand Weir, and Bottle Neck — through child-friendly analogies and interactive questions. Children learn how ancient engineers controlled floodwater without a dam, making this the most memorable science and history lesson of the trip.
