D1 - Arrival in Zhangjiajie & 72 Qilou Night View
Arrive in Zhangjiajie via flight or railway station. Your private English-speaking guide and driver will welcome you and handle your check-in at a 4-diamond downtown hotel. Your guide will provide a brief overview of the upcoming days based on real-time scenic traffic and your personal energy level. In the evening, enjoy an authentic Tujia/Western Hunan-style welcome dinner. Afterward, take an evening tour of 72 Qilou (72 Wonder Tower) to marvel at its illuminated multi-story stilt-house architecture and vibrant city night atmosphere.
D2 - Wulingyuan National Forest Park
Enter the core of 장자제 국립산림공원. Ascend via the cliff-facing 바이롱 엘리베이터 to reach 위안자지에, standing among the towering pillars that inspired the Avatar Hallelujah Mountains, and cross the First Bridge under Heaven. After a customized lunch, continue to the expansive panoramic views of 천자산 또는 Yangjiajie. Your guide will utilize smart, flexible routing to minimize queue waiting and maximize time for rest and light photography.
D3 - Tianmen Mountain Cloud Walkways to Furong Waterfall Town
Spend the morning exploring 천문산. Ride the famous mountain cableway to the summit to navigate the cliff-hanging mountaintop paths, the thrilling glass skywalk, and cloud-level viewpoints. After a local lunch, explore the grand Tianmen Cave (Heaven's Gate) area. In the afternoon, travel via private vehicle to Furong Town to check into a boutique inn. D4 - Furong Town Exploration to Fenghuang Ancient Town Evening
Enjoy a relaxed morning discovering Furong Town in full daylight. Stroll across its historic stone streets, traditional Tujia stilted houses, and iconic waterfall views while listening to local-life stories from your guide. A local rice tofu tasting or light experience can be arranged as time permits. Following lunch, take a private drive to Fenghuang Ancient Town. After checking into your boutique accommodation, take an evening walk along the Tuo River to admire the brilliantly illuminated bridges, riverways, and ancient stilted houses.
D5 - Fenghuang Slow Morning Walk & Departure
Enjoy an unhurried morning walking through the stone lanes and bridges of Fenghuang Ancient Town to learn about local minority culture and historic architecture. Depending on your preferences, your guide can coordinate optional activities like a Tuo River boat ride, silver-craft street visits, a teahouse break, or light travel photography. Conclude with a traditional Western Hunan-style lunch (spice levels can be adjusted) before your private driver transfers you to your departure airport or railway station in Fenghuang, Jishou, or Zhangjiajie.
